Visited as part of my road trip.
I got in touch with Wherever I May Roam, and saw a few sites he'd done in Liverpool, and this was one of the places I wanted to see. So we met up, and I went inside. WIMR stayed outside on guard duty.
Starting in the back room, someone has gone nuts with spray paint or something.
There's a really nice old organ, but unfortunately most of the pipes have been removed.
Looks like scaffolding is holding up the stone arch towards the back of the church.
Up in the pigeon-infested tower, the bell has turned green!
Nice old clock mechanism.
Probably the nicest thing in there was completely obscured by scaffolding. I didn't even notice this until I went around the back to take a look at the tiled floor.
So that was fun for an hour or so. Thanks a lot for showing me the site and the way in mate! After that we went and checked out another church that has sadly recently burnt down.
