The demolition of the exterior only started a couple of days ago (they've been stripping it out for a few weeks). I think everything that's going will be gone by Monday or Tuesday.

awww damn thats a shame! are the building a new school or replacing it with a nice big boring supermarket?!

This has only been half of Bell Baxter since the 1960s. It ran on two sites until about ten years ago, when the newer building was finally extended enough to accommodate the whole school.

I think this is still the planned development- 30 'affordable' houses.

That's a pity, but I suppose a school building wasn't going to have an awful lot of uses after it was closed down. Half surprised it took them as long as it did to demolish.
