Arrow 'Domino' Farm Ruddington - 5/6/10 REPORT

    Hi all,

I came across this disused derelict farm/stables when out walking on Rushcliffe Country Park near Ruddington in Nottingham. There were no signs of the farms original name and i have not been able to find anything regarding history either so anyone with any info please post it here!!

I have named the farm 'Domino' as there were thousands of dominoes strewn accross the floor in most rooms. I eventually found a room full of boxes of them from China so i assume that the previous owner either loved dominoes or was using the stables for storage...possibly illegal importing etc???

Anyway, i took some pics so here they are.

And thats the lot! All in all a nice and relaxed solo wander around and some great weather to boot!!!

    Markus

A massive domino rally would be soooo cool! Probably enough dominoes there to stretch a good few miles!

Dominoes in a farm...random and intriguing. I love the shot of the sheet of music. Can't read music myself and have no musical talent whatsoever (decent audio memory doesn't count) but I just like it.
