    Arrow Sarah Towers Crane, Manchester - Jul 09 - ARCHIVE

    Ever since I saw the reports of the 'leaning crane' I had doubts whether I wanted to do it or not but after a recce of another crane myself and Carlin found ourselves at the top of this one instead. Half way up the crane narrows down into one vertical ladder.

    Sorry about the quality of the images, we were being watched from an adjacent balcony, by the time we reached the top a gale picked up and started to lash it down grr!

    Cracking pictures here, very nice work indeed. I like seeing pictures from here as I would be far too scared to leave the ground.

    Wow. Pics are excellent. All the lights........All that light pollution!

    250 foot up in the wind and rain! "Balls of steel" is all I can say!
