    Arrow RAF Docking - May 09

    i found this place just by chance and being nosy on the way home from brancaster.
    RAF docking was a satellite air base for RAF Bircham Newton.it had a grass runway.and was used for Coastal defence and Reconnaissance.

    Nice one, this is a great area, just across the way from where you were are the air raid shelters and across the road on the farm the control tower still exists with other buildings. Back at the top of the road at Brancaster is a ROC post and the other side of docking their is a ROC post and orlit. If you get this way again give us a call there is much we can show you.
