Arrow Mcfarlanes Packaging - Linwood - April 2009

Sorry theres not much history on this place and I found it stripped to the core but made for a relaxed wander around the extremities of dereliction and pikeying.

Found it hard to believe these were still here and almost prisitine looking

A little gem of a spiral staircase that was unfortunately full of rubble and quite impassable

Im sure this photocopier and chair must have been flytipped they just seemed so out of place

Is it related to Mcfarlane transport?

Mcfarlane transport was owned by a guy nicknamed "cookie" who used to own my former company, apparently he was a tight knacker cigar smoking character in a camel hair coat.

After selling on clipper (my previous employer) he bought mcfarlanes and that went bust.

They are about 2ton each in weight, so no suprise the local scum did'nt steal them when stripping out - very powerfull waste baller - for packing waste cardboard etc....

    Worth around £3k each!

nice pics, stripped or not it looks like a nice little explore.
Shame about the spiral staircase though!
