Arrow Ainscough Mill - Burscough -Dec 08

Decided to take a wander round here while I had a spare few hours. Apart from the general mess of pigeon crap it was a decent enough visit. I reckon a return trip will be on the cards as I most defo didnt get all around the place. I missed the one part I wanted to see - that wasnt the roof where most people like to take shots from - cos Im a woos when it comes to heights - it was the lab I wanted to see.

If you don't fancy the water tower ladders, the staircase in the newer part of the factory is quite stable and there's a hole you can peep through (and see Blackpool Tower).

Which is what I did, as I saw that water tower ladder bouncing under Gibbo's weight and wondered how he'd get down from the top if it broke! D

All those shutes and conveyors make the place look magical :-)

It's a little known fact that I'm heavier and fatter than Bungle! I just carry it better!

I'm not too far from this. PM me when you want to visit if you want to make a day of it and see some other stuff in the area too.
