    Default NGTE Pyestock,Farnborough, May 11.

Well, where do I begin with Pyestock? I'll try the start eh.

A few years back when I first got into Urbex, I set eyes on a report from this place called Pyestock. It instantly went onto my to-do list.
For a couple of years I put off this visit until 2011 when Myself and HiddenShadow drew up a plan.

Fast forward about a month and I'm at Shadow's house, packing the car up while he waves goodbye to his missus and son before we commence our 500 mile round trip. Fleet being our destination.

We made good time down to Farnborough, and in the early hours of Saturday morning, we parked the car.
With visions of security's gurkhas and 110 land rovers, we packed our kit and set off walking.
After several hundred metres, we hit the trees. Stealth in mind.
What a joke this was, navigating through complete darkness with weird ass music playing in the distance and flashing yellow beacons penetrating the darkness every so often.
For the next few hours, Me and Mr Shadow ducked, weaved and threw ourselves to the ground more times than I care to remember before realising this was a bad idea as we were still nowhere near where we needed to be. So we headed back to the car to get a couple of hours sleep before attempt No. 2 at first light.

Fast forward again to 5 AM Saturday, myself and HiddenShadow are sat freezing in his car, making the decision to head to Maccies.
After Sausage and Egg McMuffins we headed back to the car park and once again set off on our way.

We decided to walk the entire perimeter of the fence. I don't think we looked suspicous walking the entire length of this 12 foot high barbed wire fence at 6 AM, tripods hanging off rucksacks, when security did their patrol. It was the Gurkha.

    "Morning"
Both parties continued on their way, but he knew what we were there for and for the next 3 hours, we spent our way climbing fences, running through trees, climbing gantry's and avoiding a 110 Land Rover Defender.

The Air House was our first target, and thanks to Host and Bugsuperstar's information, we found access quickly.
    WOW.
This was it, the moment I had imagined back when I first laid eyes on Pyestock.

We wandered around the vast space of the Airhouse, photographing as we went.

It was still only 10 AM, Next target was Cell 3.

This was a large testing cell which was also used for the filming of Sahara.
We didn't really too long in here, I just wanted to see the doors from Sahara, but without climbing down the fire hose, there wasn't a viable way into the Cell itself and I wasn't risking it, so we continued to the Computer building via Monks Tunnel.

The Computer Building is basically a trashed office building, but we were out of the way in here, so HiddenShadow got his head down for a bit whilst I kept my eye on security.

We then headed back into Monk's Tunnel to try and find a way in to Cell 4 but unfortunately, it was bricked up. This meant we were heading back out into the open, to play hide and seek with security

We found our way into Cell 4 quite easily, my jaw dropped with amazement. How big is that Cell?! It's f*cking massive!
Whilst we were in here, we both thought we could hear voices and security kept driving round the outside of Cell 4 the whole time we were in there. With this in mind, we carefully made our way back outside, to hear the Land Rover screech to a halt somewhere in the distance. Why would security have to stop that aggresively unless they caught sight of explorers, this meant we could've been right about the voices. With this in mind we legged it back to the Airhouse via Cell 3, and hid for a bit. It was now getting late in the day and with over 250 miles to drive home, we called it a day. So we legged it the entire length of the site to our access point, vaulted the fence ridiculously quick and sighed a breath of relief. We'd done it without any problems.

We casually walked back to the car and commenced our journey home, Via Allens Fried Chicken. WIN!

Anyway, big thanks to HiddenShadow for driving and being a f*cking awesome partner in crime.
Thanks to Bugsuperstar, Host, Gone, Millhouse and whoever else gave us information.

    Thanks for looking,

    Nick.
