NGTE Pyestock, Farnborough - January 2012

These pictures were taken over two visits with a mixture of people.

Pyestock has been done to the death now, saying that I could never get bored of it. The scale of it is breathtakingly immense.
I shall be making a third and probably a forth visit.

If you don't already know the history:
'The National Gas Turbine Establishment (NGTE Pyestock) in Fleet, part of the Royal Aircraft Establishment (RAE), UK was the prime site in the UK for design and development of gas turbine and jet engines.'

I can't wait to get back in there myself.
It's definitely one of my favourite sites.
if you go, look out for secca, they used to just drive round at silly speeds but now they actually get out and check inside... we never heard them coming :\
