    there is one at saltburn too ..again no pics so it dont exist yet but now i know of this thread if i rememberer i will get a pic just for you

    Cool money box! There is a sea mine on the front at Mundesley, I will get a picture.
    My father worked on mine sweepers during the fifties and sixties, a diver would go down cut the chain and let the mine float to the top and then a marksman would shoot a spine and up she would go!

    Here is the Saltburn sea mine. There was a Terrorist Alert there on Wednesday, some looney women was acting suspiciously with a ruck sack, so the local firearms boys took charge. The Sea mine is in the middle of them all!!

    pretty sure theres one in Lowestoft outside the Maritime museum i think.
    also theres one on Southwold seafront.
