Prees Higher Heath, WW2 bunker - September 08 ARCHIVED

Was down this way and saw these buildings in a wood beside the road. Normally I wouldn't bother posting them but I hope someone can shed some light on what they were.

There is a large airfiled near here of WW2 vintage so obviously they had a connection with it.

Most are just common WW2 efforts but the large bunker type building reminded me more of a radar station....still had a telephone exchange inside and loads of air ducting and floor channels for heavy cable runs.

A local goon was no help and told me that the police are watching the buildings....yeah I'm sure they are LOL
