Hadn't been this place for well over a year, in which time some work had started to be done on Liverpool's only listed cinema. Wasn't sure what was going on but the place was covered in scaffold and during this time we tried to go back and found our old access on the roof was well sealed up. Wasn't until a few weeks back we found there was another way in we had over looked the first time.
Once inside we realized for all the work that was going on outside there didn't seem to be anything getting done inside, maybe the work was just to clean the facade and secure the place. Seems there are plans being submitted from various developers for the place.
Anyway this time i was just trying to some light painting to try and capture all the larger areas of the place, might go back again soon and do some of the small detailed things and some "artistic" shots

Found a way to get under the seats and see whats the structure was like

This was good, in some old room at the back of the cinema, now the board which i guess would have been at the front is used as a makeshift partition

One of the smaller screens, im sure this was screen 3, either 2 or 3 they both looks prety much the same

I'm sure this much have been used in some way connected to the reels of film as it was in the projection room. Not much else is left in that rooms sadly

Last we found all the old letters they used to write the film titles on the front above the door, nice. Its a good trip if you like these kind of places. Due to the difficulty of access theres no vandalism at all even thou its been shut over a decade, only natural decay.
