been there today looking for the tunnels that they showed on the real dads army, the place is bricked up at 1 end, there is 3 rooms down the tunnel, not a lot in them but its somthing to look at. they not the best pics, taken with a old crappy camera

Any pictures of any of the rooms? Is always nice to have a bit of context as to where the small stuff is. Looks a nice little explore though.

I think we went in here when we had a meeting at raf holmpton last year.

Its a shame you didnt get the chance to visit skipsea roc post today with you being in the area.

One of the rooms has WW2 era writting etc in it presumably from the soldiers based there. I think freebird has a pic of some of it-i'll mention it to her tonight & if she's still got it should be able to post it up. Well done for having a peek in here though six2. :thumb

just been reading about skipsea m8, did not realise it was open, my lad wants to see a roc, so im sure i will keep a eye out for the next time

A couple of pics of the graffitti here. Much of this was WW2 Graffitti I have tried to enhance it as much as possible in order to make out the writing better. The name Vera Lynn can be seen clearly on one of the pics. Many of the signitures start with PTE and L/C presumably short for Private and Lance Corporal. These pics are better seen in large on my flickr pages. :D
