Carlton Cinema, Liverpool. 9/12/08

Had looked at this a few times over the last few years, word was that it was all burnt out inside, turns out they may have been a few small fire but nothing major, the club next door on the other hand was burnt out! It is rather fucked thou!! a few local explorers had a visit earlier in the month so following on i gave it a go myself with 3 others Wednesday night.
Access is a awkward time consuming pain in the ass!! my third cinema, very very dusty and lots of bird shite as ever. You can read the history here

From what i can make out the seats use to go right down to beyond where the last screen, erected on that scaffold, to what was a old stage

Apart from the auditorium the rest of the place was a bit crap and not worth wasting time taking shots of, that is apart form the great projection room

Another real good explore. Theres still 3 old cinemas in Liverpool disused for a long time that haven't been done at all, shame there not to easy to get in
